Wellness Screening

bpandweightThe principal aim of Occupational Health is to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of the workforce by promoting awareness of lifestyle and work health issues.

Medwyn Occupational Health can provide on-site, nurse led wellness screening campaigns for your employees. We offer individual health risk assessments and where appropriate we encourage lifestyle and behaviour change. These screening programmes include:

  • Review of past and current medical problems
  • Height, weight and Body Mass Index measurement
  • Blood pressure and pulse
  • Urine analysis
  • Diabetes screening
  • Advice on dietary and lifestyle modification

General Health Campaigns

After agreeing health priorities within your organisation Medwyn Occupational Health can help support both general and targeted health campaigns. Popular topics include healthy eating, exercise, and men’s health.

Campaigns can be delivered in the staff canteen, rest areas and can also be integrated into your intranet. Where possible, we co-ordinate campaigns with national health events such as Back Care Awareness Week, National Diabetes Day & World Mental Health Day to maximise the impact.

Occupational Health Campaigns

When a specific job role exposes workers to risk of health problems we can also provide health promotion for conditions such as noise induced hearing loss, dermatitis, manual handling and asthma.

Senior Executive Medicals

Your senior staff are key to the success of your organisation. We can provide comprehensive health reviews with an occupational health physician, including a range of laboratory investigations and tests to suit your budget.

Offshore Medicals

Medwyn OH is accredited by Oil & Gas UK and The County Governor of Rogaland for offshore installation medicals to meet the OGUK and Norwegian standards.
