Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Services (SEQOHS)
Providing an accredited occupational health service
There are standards of performance for occupational health services in the UK. These standards have been developed by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in partnership with a multidisciplinary, multi-agency stakeholder group. Read more about the SEQOHS here.
The Faculty encourages all occupational health providers – in both the NHS and the private sector – to familiarise themselves with the standards, and to work towards complying with them. The purpose is to provide occupational health services with a framework for quality assurance which is organised into six categories:
- Business probity
- Information governance
- People
- Facilities and equipment
- Relationships with purchasers
- Relationships with workers
Medwyn Occupational Health was formally approved by SEQOHS in November 2014 and we were re-credited in April 2020.
