99.98% sensitivity (true positives) and 99.8% specificity (true negatives) for blood samples taken 14 days or later after infection or date of vaccination.

Taken in the convenience of your own home. Sample returned to our UKAS accredited lab by pre-paid Royal Mail Tracked 24 response and results available after 24 hrs.

 

  • The new Roche Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S test launched in January 2021 can quantitatively measure the level of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in patients who have been vaccinated against or exposed to the virus.
  • The test targets antibodies against the Nucleocapsid and Receptor Binding Domain Spike antigen protein.
  • Used in global pharmaceutical clinical trials to confirm vaccine efficacy – the majority of current vaccines aim to induce an antibody response against the spike protein which can be measured by this test.
  • This self-collection blood kit enables determination of both the presence and level of antibodies to the COVID spike protein from a finger prick blood sample, unlike other antibody tests which only confirm a positive or negative result.
